“Drylining (also known as dot and dab) or drywall systems, has largely replaced the practice of  traditional wet plastering over the last 20 years. The main advantages of drylining are, the speed of installation, drying time, and thermal properties insulating our homes and premises.

Drylining includes boards fixed to block walls and to internal metal or timber studs and ceilings. These boards can be taped and jointed, ready for decoration, or with the addition of a skim finish, it will provide additional impact resistance.

Within domestic homes, drylining is generally referred to as Dot and Dabbing, .where plasterboards are fixed to internal brickwork in the way of using a very strong adhesive,. this is then skimmed and gives a perfect finish.
